Sweet Online – Terms & Conditions, Fair Usage Policy (FUP) and Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Welcome to Sweet Online. By subscribing to or using any service provided by Sweet Online, you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions, Fair Usage Policy (FUP), and Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About Sweet Online

Sweet Online is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) operating in Bangladesh, offering home broadband, shared internet, corporate internet, and dedicated bandwidth services.

2. Service Agreement

2.1 Services are provided based on availability, technical feasibility, and the selected package.

2.2 Internet speed may vary due to network load, distance, device capability, or shared usage.

2.3 Sweet Online reserves the right to upgrade, modify, suspend, or discontinue services with or without prior notice when required.

3. Billing & Payment

3.1 Customers must pay monthly charges in advance as per the billing cycle.

3.2 Late payment may result in service suspension or disconnection without prior notice.

3.3 Installation charges, security deposits, and equipment costs (if any) are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

3.4 Reconnection fees may apply after suspension due to non-payment.

4. Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

Sweet Online provides shared internet services designed for fair and reasonable use by all customers.

4.1 Unlimited Internet means no fixed data cap, but usage must remain reasonable and non-abusive.

4.2 Excessive or continuous high-bandwidth usage that affects network performance may be considered unfair usage.

4.3 During peak hours, traffic management may be applied to ensure service quality for all users.

4.4 Commercial or server usage on residential packages is not allowed without prior approval.

Actions for FUP Violation:

Speed limitation

Temporary suspension

Package upgrade recommendation

Permanent disconnection for repeated abuse

5. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Customers must use Sweet Online services lawfully and responsibly.

5.1 Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use the service for:

Illegal activities, hacking, cracking, or unauthorized access

Spreading viruses, malware, spyware, or phishing

Copyright infringement or piracy

Online fraud, scams, or identity theft

Terrorism, extremism, or violence-related content

Pornographic or obscene content prohibited by law

Hate speech, harassment, or abusive behavior

5.2 Network Abuse

Running unauthorized servers (FTP, mail, proxy, VPN, game, etc.)

Excessive torrenting or P2P traffic causing congestion

IP spoofing, port scanning, or network attacks

5.3 Spam & Messaging Abuse

Sending bulk unsolicited emails or messages

Using Sweet Online IPs for spam or blacklisted activities

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1 Customers are responsible for securing their devices, routers, and Wi-Fi networks.

6.2 Any activity conducted through the customer’s connection is the customer’s responsibility.

6.3 Damage or loss of ISP-provided equipment must be compensated by the customer.

7. Suspension & Termination

Sweet Online may suspend or terminate service if:

Payment obligations are not met

FUP or AUP is violated

Illegal activity is detected

Government or regulatory authorities require action

No refund will be issued for suspended or terminated services due to violations.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Services are provided on an “AS IS” basis.

8.2 Sweet Online is not responsible for:

Data loss

Business loss or downtime

Third-party websites or content

Customer device or configuration issues

9. Privacy & Monitoring

Sweet Online may monitor network usage to ensure compliance with policies and may cooperate with law enforcement agencies when legally required.

10. Governing Law

These policies are governed by the laws of Bangladesh and applicable BTRC regulations.
